Before you ask, yes, you are going to need to make this recipe. Yes, you are going to love it. Yes, it tastes just like cookie dough.
This recipe is made from using an adapted cookie dough recipe, minus the egg. Then you mix in some yogurt and freeze. It couldn’t be easier and no one is going to yell at you for eating raw egg.
It recommends freezing overnight, but I didn’t have that kind of time. I mixed it up around 9:30 this morning and put it in my deep freezer. By 11:45, when I checked on it, it was just frozen enough to try. I was instantly in love but put it back in for a while longer.
Around 1:30, I went to scoop some with an ice cream scoop and it was so frozen that I had to chisel chunks out instead. (Thanks to the in-laws for their super freezy freezer!)
It was very tasty, but I could not eat all that I scooped. It was very rich. I still highly recommend this recipe.
Here’s What You Need:
½ cups Unsalted Butter, Softened
½ cups Packed Dark Brown Sugar
¼ cups Granulated Sugar
2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
1 cup All-purpose Flour
¼ teaspoons Baking Soda
¼ teaspoons Salt
¾ cups Mini Chocolate Chips Or Chunks
1 cup Vanilla Yogurt
Here’s What to Do:
Using a stand mixer, cream the butter and sugar together.
Add vanilla and beat until combined.In a small mixing bowl, mix together the flour, soda and salt.
Add the chocolate chips or chunks and stir.
Add the flour and chocolate mixture to butter mixture and fold in gently.
Add yogurt and stir again.Place in a container and cover with a lid.
