Day 347 – Paper Plate Dreamcatcher

“What Pinterest Project are we going to do today,” said the little girl.

Today she made a paper plate dream catcher. She knew what a dream catcher was already, so she did not need any mini-lessons on how the Native Americans believe the web keeps the bad dreams out and the good dreams go through the holes. She knew that she needed to leave the space for the good dreams to get through.

She had high aspirations to glue a pattern of sequins around the outside of her dream catcher, but she must have gotten tired of gluing because part way through, she decided that she had enough. She decided to let the part she had already done be the bottom of her project.

These pictures were taken in a hurry, but it they’re pretty cute.
